How long are the Duke University Health System Administrative Fellowship Programs?
All three fellowships – Duke University Hospital , Revenue Cycle and Financial Management, and Ambulatory Care Services – are two years.
 
How many fellows does Duke typically accept?
The Duke University Hospital Fellowship typically accepts two fellows each year.
 
The Duke Revenue Cycle and Financial Management Fellowship typically accepts one fellow each year.
 
The Duke Ambulatory Care Services Fellowship typically accepts one fellow every other year (2008, 2010, etc.). 
 
How often are the fellowships offered?
The Duke University Hospital Fellowship and the Duke Revenue Cycle and Financial Management Fellowship are offered every year.
 
At this time, as a new fellowship program, the Duke Ambulatory Care Services Fellowship will be offered every other year (2008, 2010, etc.).
 
Who are the preceptors for each Administrative Fellowship program?
The preceptor for the Duke University Hospital fellowship is Kevin Sowers, Chief Executive Officer of Duke University Hospital .
 
The preceptor for the Revenue Cycle and Financial Management Fellowship is Cecelia Moore, the Chief Operating Officer of Duke Patient Revenue Management Organization.
 
The preceptor for the Ambulatory Care Services Fellowship is Pamela Sutton-Wallace, the Chief Operating Officer of Duke Ambulatory Care Services.
 
What level of salary and benefits do fellows receive?

Do Duke University Health System Administrative Fellowship programs sponsor international visas?
At this time, the Duke University Administrative Fellowship programs do not sponsor international visas.
 
If my graduate program requires a year-long residency after completion of coursework, am I still eligible to apply even though I do not yet have my degree?
Applicants who have completed all coursework are eligible to apply to the fellowship program. However, while your degree only requires that you complete a one year residency, the Duke University Health System Administrative Fellowship Programs are a two year commitment. In order to participate in the Fellowship you would have to commit to the full two year appointment.
 
When will the new application be posted?
Fellowship applications are updated mid-August each year.
 
When is the application deadline?
All application materials must be postmarked by October 15.
 
To whom should I address my letters of recommendation?
Letters of recommendation should be addressed to the Administrative Fellowship Selection Committee.
