Ambulatory Care Services Overview

Duke Ambulatory Care Services (ASC) is an administrative model that includes the following outpatient entities:

• Duke Health and Wellness
• Duke Primary Care
• Duke Home Care and Hospice
• Hospital-Based Clinics
• Private Diagnostic Clinic
• PDC Affiliations and Management Services

Over 100 primary and specialty care clinics comprise Duke ASC and are located on Duke's main campus as well as across North Carolina. The clincs saw over 1.4 million visits in fiscal year 2008.  

Paul Newman leads the ACS division as the Vice-President and is the Executive Director of the Private Diagnostic Clinic (PDC).
